New Delhi: June 8-18, 2006 Residential seminar for college students
I, Society & Public Policy (ISPP) Seminar is a unique 11 day residential program to engage college students in critical socio-economic issues through a theoretical and practical understanding of public policy. It was for the first time that ISPP Seminar was organised. The aim was to help youth explore the relation of self to society & public policy and how they influence each other.
Seminar Design
The program is interactive and challenging with interactive sessions with the practitioners, activists, policy researchers, policy makers, field research , working group exercises; and screening of documentary films . There is formal as well informal spaces to carry on the debates and discussions throughout 12 days. Participants also conduct a field research project during the program.
We start at 9.00 am in the morning and end at around 11.30 pm, though most students rarely stops then.

How to participate?
Eligibilty: College students currently enrolled in an under-grad/ post-grad program or recent graduates from any discipline. We are especially targeting students who are already or have a strong inclination on working towards social change in the future. A open mind, Loads of enthusiasm and a strong Desire for CHANGE and to be the a PART of the CHANGE!
Application Process: 25 students are selected through an application form.
Participants will bear travel costs to the venue. Room & board will be provided by CCS!
After ISPP
CCS offers a variety of programs in which ISPP graduates can continue to be on the learning or action curve which began at the ISPP.
