SCHOOL CHOICE CAMPAIGN
Fund Students Not Schools

Did you know that city governments in India spend Rs 1,000-1,700 per child on education? Not every year.. but every MONTH .

Imagine that sum in the hands of the poor parents and the quality of education that their child would receive.

We believe that the importance of education in a child's life cannot be overestimated - and school education in India today is in a complete mess. We are not talking of the large, privately run schools with state-of-the-art facilities, but government and government aided schools, which cater to over 90% of India's children.

The system of school education in India today is in desperate need of reforms - and the Education Choice Campaign is our effort in this very direction.

A 3-pronged approach

Education Vouchers

Regulatory Reform

Encouraging the Edupreneurs

We believe that poor students must have a choice in selecting the school they wish to study in. An educational voucher will be the instrument of this choice and poor children will no longer be a captive group of consumers! more

Archaic rules and complex regulations have stifled the education system in this country or years. We believe that the license raj should be abolished! The system should also be made accountable and autonomous.more

We believe that access to funds, resources and expert advice  should no longer be constraints for educational entrepreneurs with a passion for the cause of education! more
